I’ve been noticing this pattern with myself where I only start thinking about my mental state when something feels off. The rest of the time I’m just moving from one task to another without really checking in. A while ago I tried building a habit around journaling, but it felt forced and I dropped it pretty quickly. Recently I came across Liven while reading about different self-discovery tools, and it looked like it might be more interactive than just writing notes. It made me wonder if something like that can actually fit into everyday life naturally, or if it ends up being something you use for a few days and then forget.

I ended up reading this thread out of curiosity, and it’s interesting how people are trying to find that balance between structure and simplicity. I don’t really use apps for self-reflection, but I’ve noticed that awareness tends to come in waves for me. Sometimes I’m very in tune with how I feel, and other times I just go on autopilot for days. Lately I’ve been trying to just notice when that shift happens instead of forcing myself into a system. It’s not really a method, just something I’ve become more aware of over time.
