Channel Catfish is a popular fish for many reasons.  Overall Channel Catfish are easy to manage, they can grow over 1 pound per season and they feed on commercial feed.  Channel Catfish can be very social and travel together in a pond or lake. If conditions are right and they have areas to spawn they can reproduce.   Channel Catfish can be stocked with other fish in the correct numbers.   If you want to commercially feed you can bump up these numbers.  Commercially feeding these fish can be entertaining as well as giving you a better taste at the dinner table.
