Hyacinth is a free floating vegetation. When Controlled it is a beautiful plant.
Water Hyacinth, like most vegetation is nice to have in a pond or lake. Controlling Hyacinth can be fairly easy, as long as it is caught early. This vegetation will need to be maintenanced from time to time with treatments. Two common treatments are with Glyphomate 41 and Imazapyr.
